This Tontatta and former Marine is just doing what she can to evade capture by the World Government as it would mean her neck (and subsequently her head). Her curious and honest Tontatta nature has gotten her into a mess of trouble with them. She's eaten the Glass Glass Fruit which allows her to turn her entire body into glass.
